Hoslo Jiwa is an expert in equality, inclusion, and anti-discrimination with over three decades of practical and policy experience across Europe. He holds a degree in International Human Rights from Louvain University, where he specialized in the legal, institutional, and social dimensions of protecting marginalized communities. Since 1991, Hoslo has been at the forefront of Finland’s equality and human rights movement.
He serves as Chairman of the Association for Foreigners in Finland, the country’s oldest immigrant organization, and is a co-founder and former Vice-Chair of the European Network Against Racism (ENAR).
His contributions helped shape Finland’s Anti-Discrimination Law and the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights, embedding equality principles into European governance.

In collaboration with Finnish ministries and the European Union, he has led award-winning projects such as “Sports for All”, recognized as the Best EU Integration Project in 1995.
He has trained local governments, NGOs, and public institutions on inclusion, minority rights, and community engagement — turning policy into measurable social change.
