TRUST
TRUST Training – Training for Respect, Unity, Safety & Tolerance
TRUST is a capacity-building program designed for city councils, police departments, and public service institutions to strengthen their skills in anti-discrimination, equality promotion, and community inclusion. Drawing on over 30 years of practical and policy-level experience in combating racism and promoting equality across Finland and Europe, the program combines:
— Legal frameworks (EU Charter of Fundamental Rights, Anti-Discrimination Law)
— Operational training (inclusive service delivery, bias prevention, equitable policing)
— Community trust-building strategies.
Objective
Equip local governments and service providers with the knowledge, empathy, and tools to ensure every resident receives fair and equal treatment — regardless of race, background, or belief.
Showcase and Orientation Seminar
This engaging half-day orientation session is designed for city officials. It aims to raise awareness, showcase TRUST’s expertise, and help participants discover which areas of anti-discrimination, equality, and inclusion training best fit their local needs. Following the seminar, attendees can choose which topics to explore in greater depth through our in-depth training modules.
How Does it work?
The Introductory Seminar highlights the areas of training we offer. After the initial seminar, clients choose the areas they want to specialize in or need to learn how to implement. This is then negotiated with our staff regarding dates and the specific work to be covered. We use a hands-on approach, ensuring that tasks are conducted following proven protocols to make the program successful.
Structure: Half-Day Seminar (Approx. 4 Hours)
